Description
Aavad Instrument Pvt. Ltd.’s Mud Pressure Gauge is a rugged, heavy-duty pressure gauge specifically engineered for drilling fluid (mud) pressure measurement in oil & gas exploration, directional drilling, water well drilling, and foundation engineering applications. The gauge is designed to withstand the highly abrasive, viscous, and particle-laden nature of drilling mud, which would rapidly clog or damage conventional Bourdon tube gauges.
Mud Pressure Gauge are extremely accurate and widely used in the harshest drilling environments. Each of our mud pressure systems are designed to meet or exceed up to industrial standards. Our mud pump pressure gauges to stand up to whatever the oil and gas industry can throw at them.

FAQs
1. What is a Mud Pressure Gauge?
A Mud Pressure Gauge is a heavy-duty industrial pressure measuring instrument specifically designed to measure the pressure of drilling mud, slurry, cement, and other abrasive or viscous fluids. It is widely used in oil & gas drilling, mining, geotechnical engineering, construction, and drilling fluid circulation systems where conventional pressure gauges may fail due to abrasive media.
2. Why does a Mud Pressure Gauge use a Diaphragm instead of a Bourdon Tube?
A diaphragm isolates the internal measuring mechanism from direct contact with abrasive drilling fluids. This helps prevent clogging, erosion, sediment buildup, and premature wear, resulting in improved measurement accuracy, reliability, and longer service life compared to a standard Bourdon tube pressure gauge in abrasive applications.
3. What pressure range does this Gauge measure?
This model measures pressures from 0 to 6000 PSI, making it suitable for high-pressure drilling operations, mud pumps, mud circulation systems, hydraulic equipment, cement pumping, and other demanding industrial pressure measurement applications.
4. Which Process Connection does this Pressure Gauge use?
The Mud Pressure Gauge is supplied with a 2″ NPT (Female) bottom process connection, providing a secure and robust installation for oil & gas drilling rigs, mud manifolds, high-pressure pumping systems, and other heavy-duty industrial applications.
