Description
RTD Insert (Model APED-6×315) is a high-accuracy duplex PT100 RTD measuring insert designed for installation inside existing thermowells, protection tubes, and temperature sensor assemblies. Featuring two independent 3-wire PT100 sensing elements (3+3 wire) in a durable 6 mm OD × 315 mm SS316 stainless steel sheath, this Class A RTD insert provides precise and repeatable temperature measurement across an operating range of -50°C to +250°C. Its mineral-insulated, compacted MgO construction provides excellent thermal response and measurement stability, making it an ideal replacement RTD element for maintaining or upgrading existing industrial temperature measurement systems without replacing the complete sensor assembly.
Designed for industrial maintenance, retrofit, and spare-part applications, the Model APED-6×315 allows plant operators and OEMs to replace a failed, damaged, or drifted RTD sensing element while retaining the existing thermowell, protection tube, terminal head, and process connection. The duplex PT100 configuration provides two independent temperature signals from a single insert, supporting process control, indication, data logging, or redundant temperature monitoring. Manufactured by Aavad Instrument, this PT100 RTD insert sensor is available with customized insertion lengths, sheath dimensions, and wiring configurations to match existing temperature sensor assemblies in chemical plants, petrochemical facilities, power plants, furnaces, kilns, process industries, and industrial machinery.
