Duplex Thermocouple Probe with Connector (Model AKED-3×300) is a K Type duplex thermocouple engineered for continuous high-temperature measurement in industrial processes where equipment availability and process reliability are critical. The duplex construction incorporates two independent sensing junctions within a single SS310 sheath, allowing the secondary junction to be used when the primary junction reaches the end of its service life. This helps reduce unplanned shutdowns and maintenance interruptions.
Designed for temperatures up to 1200°C, the sensor features a 3 mm diameter SS310 stainless steel sheath that provides excellent resistance to oxidation and high-temperature environments. The probe is fitted with a Big Omega-type male-female connector, specifically sized to accommodate the additional conductors required for duplex thermocouples while providing quick installation and replacement.
The FG/FG/SS (Fiberglass insulated with Stainless Steel braided) cable protects against heat, abrasion, and mechanical wear, making the assembly suitable for demanding industrial environments. The connectorized design also simplifies maintenance by allowing rapid sensor replacement without rewiring the control system.
