Description
Teflon-coated thermocouples measure the temperature of highly corrosive acids and bases. The thermocouple measures temperatures up to 250°C, suitable for applications such as electroplating, pickling, and acid baths. The shroud is made of SS316/SS316L and then coated with Teflon (PTFE) to protect the RTD element from corrosion and thermal degradation in acidic or alkaline environments. Angle assemblies are available upon request to allow RTD installation in difficult locations. The standard clamping head is made of plastic; Stainless steel heads (SS) can also be made on request.
