Aavad Instrument Private Limited is one of the top thermocouple manufacturers in India, backed by a skilled crew and well-equipped infrastructure. Electrical thermocouples are used to measure temperature. It consists of two distinct metal wires, each with unique electrical characteristics depending on the temperature. The junction, which is the measuring point where the temperature is measured, is where these two wires are twisted or joined together. A voltage that may be connected back to the temperature is produced when the joint between the two metals is heated or cooled. Our thermocouples are produced in accordance with international standards utilizing raw materials of the highest quality and cutting-edge processes. In order to produce these thermocouples, we obtain certified quality materials from the top vendor base, which guarantees that a defect-free and flawless product is delivered to the client. To provide customers the best solutions, our thermal experts combine their extensive knowledge of temperature control requirements with their industry expertise and experience.
In India, we have established a solid name as a trustworthy supplier of thermocouples. Due to their performance and quality, the thermocouples we offer are well-liked worldwide. The device that both detects heat and regulates temperature is this one. The temperature sensor is straightforward, reliable, and reasonably priced. Its accuracy, quick response time, and ability to withstand strong vibrations, high pressure, and severe temperatures make them suited for a wide range of applications. They are offered at affordable pricing. Additionally, we specialize in the production of non-standard and custom thermocouples.
Types Of Thermocouple
Type K: Type K thermocouples are the most common and widely used type. They are made of a positive Chromel (Nickel-Chromium) wire and a negative Alumel (Nickel-Aluminum) wire. Type K thermocouples can operate in temperature ranges from -200°C to +1,370°C (-328°F to +2,498°F).
Type J: Type J thermocouples consist of a positive Iron wire and a negative Constantan (Copper-Nickel) wire. They are commonly used in applications within the range of -210°C to +1,200°C (-346°F to +2,192°F).
Type T: Type T thermocouples are composed of a positive Copper wire and a negative Constantan wire. They are often used in cryogenic applications, with a temperature range of -200°C to +350°C (-328°F to +662°F).
Type E: Type E thermocouples consist of a positive Chromel wire and a negative Constantan wire. They are well-suited for high-temperature applications and have a temperature range of -200°C to +900°C (-328°F to +1,652°F).
Type N: Type N thermocouples are made of a positive Nicrosil (Nickel-Chromium-Silicon) wire and a negative Nisil (Nickel-Silicon) wire. They offer good resistance to oxidation and are commonly used in high-temperature applications, ranging from -200°C to +1,300°C (-328°F to +2,372°F).
Type S: Type S thermocouples are typically used in high-temperature environments. They are made of a positive Platinum Rhodium-10% wire and a negative Platinum wire. Type S thermocouples have a temperature range of 0°C to +1,600°C (32°F to +2,912°F).
Type B: Type B thermocouples are also designed for high-temperature applications. They are made of a positive Platinum Rhodium-30% wire and a negative Platinum Rhodium-6% wire. Type B thermocouples can operate in a temperature range of 600°C to +1,820°C (1,112°F to +3,308°F).
