M8 Screw-in RTD Sensor (Model APES-M8) is a PT100 resistance temperature detector (RTD) designed for reliable temperature measurement in industrial equipment that uses standard M8 metric threaded mounting points. The M8 threaded connection enables direct installation into compatible machinery without additional adapters, making it suitable for OEM equipment as well as replacement applications.
Unlike BSP or NPT threaded sensors that are commonly used in process piping, the M8 screw-in design is intended for equipment manufactured with metric threaded ports. This provides a secure mechanical connection and dependable sealing for applications operating under vacuum, positive pressure, or normal process conditions.
The sensor uses a PT100 sensing element capable of measuring temperatures from -50°C to 400°C. Its SS316 stainless steel probe offers excellent corrosion resistance and durability in industrial environments, while the TF/TF/SS (Teflon insulated with stainless steel braided) cable provides protection against heat, oils, chemicals, moisture, and mechanical abrasion.
