Description
Regular Bayonet Thermocouple (Model AKES-6×45) is a K-Type rotating bayonet thermocouple designed for accurate temperature measurement on plastic injection molding machines, extrusion equipment, hot runner systems, and industrial heating applications. Featuring a 45 mm insertion length, it is suitable for standard nozzle and barrel mounting depths commonly found on industrial processing machines.
The sensor incorporates a rotating 1-pin bayonet cap that allows the cable to exit in the most convenient direction after installation. Its spring-loaded mechanism maintains continuous contact between the sensing tip and the bottom of the drilled mounting hole, helping to deliver stable and repeatable temperature readings despite vibration or thermal expansion.
Manufactured with an SS316 stainless steel sheath, the thermocouple offers excellent durability and corrosion resistance for demanding industrial environments. The K-Type thermocouple element measures temperatures from 0°C to 400°C, while the FG/FG/SS cable provides protection against heat, abrasion, and mechanical wear.

FAQs
1. What is a Regular Bayonet Thermocouple?
A Regular Bayonet Thermocouple is a spring-loaded temperature sensor equipped with a rotating bayonet cap that locks securely into a matching bayonet adapter. It is widely used for accurate and reliable temperature measurement on plastic injection molding machines, extrusion equipment, and other industrial heating applications.
2. What is the advantage of a Rotating Bayonet Thermocouple?
A rotating bayonet thermocouple allows the cable to be positioned in the most convenient direction after installation while maintaining a secure mechanical lock. This improves cable routing, reduces cable twisting and mechanical stress, and helps extend the service life of the sensor.
3. Why is a Spring-Loaded Bayonet Thermocouple used?
The spring-loaded mechanism applies constant pressure between the sensing tip and the bottom of the mounting hole, ensuring reliable thermal contact even during vibration, thermal expansion, and machine movement. This results in faster response and more accurate temperature measurement.
4. Where are Regular Bayonet Thermocouples commonly used?
Regular Bayonet Thermocouples are widely used on plastic injection molding machines, extrusion equipment, hot runner systems, nozzle heaters, barrel heaters, die casting machines, rubber processing machinery, packaging equipment, and industrial heating systems where accurate process temperature control is essential.
