Oil Seal RTD Sensor resistance thermometer designed to maintain integrity between two environments. The oil seal resistance thermometer sensors have a Pt100 Class A element housed in a 4mm diameter stainless steel tip 12mm long. This then has a Teflon insulated lead wire, available in standard lengths of 1, 2 & 3 meters. The cable then enters a stainless steel pressurized transition piece 6mm (D) x 75mm (L) which allows a compression fitting (sold separately) to be attached in order to seal a chamber. The sensor is complete with a 2-meter Teflon insulated flexible lead wire as standard. These sensors are generally bespoke and manufactured to customers’ requirements and can be made entirely to your specifications.

The RTD can be supplied in either simple (single sensor) or duplex (dual sensors) 3-wire versions, with the construction designed to maintain the integrity between two environments, specifically oil seals in bearing housings. However, the sensor can be used in any (non-water or steam) application where the user wants an impervious seal.
