Description
The Aavad Instrument Model AMAG-I Stainless Steel Magnetic Flow Meter is engineered with an SS304 flow tube body, combining structural strength with excellent resistance to corrosion in water supply, groundwater, utility, and industrial process applications. Working on Faraday’s Law of Electromagnetic Induction, the meter accurately measures the flow of electrically conductive liquids without moving parts, ensuring stable performance, minimal maintenance, and negligible pressure loss.
Industrial water systems often handle liquids containing dissolved minerals, chlorides, treatment chemicals, or mildly corrosive compounds that can gradually affect the external body and flange areas of conventional flow meters. While the internal liner protects the measuring tube, selecting a stainless steel flow meter body provides additional long-term durability in demanding operating environments where corrosion resistance is a key design consideration.
The measuring tube incorporates a PTFE liner for chemical compatibility and SS316L electrodes for reliable signal detection across a wide range of conductive liquids. This combination provides a durable wetted construction suitable for water distribution systems, borewell applications, treated water, process water, and many industrial services where long-term reliability is essential.
Designed with a local 16 × 4 LCD display, the AMAG-I enables operators to view instantaneous flow rate, cumulative totalized flow, and diagnostic information directly at the installation site. Multiple output options, including 4–20 mA, pulse output, and RS485 (Modbus RTU), allow seamless integration with PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation platforms.
Available in line sizes from 15 mm to 250 mm, the stainless steel magnetic flow meter can be customized with different lining materials, electrode options, flange standards, and pressure ratings to suit a wide variety of industrial flow measurement requirements.
