Description
Adjustable-length bayonet RTDs solve the same installation problem across plastic extrusion and injection molding equipment: a compression spring behind the bayonet cap keeps the sensing tip pressed firmly against the bottom of a machined recess, compensating for manufacturing tolerance in recess depth from one machine to the next without needing a custom-length sensor for each. This build uses a 75mm tip with a 1-pin, 14.10mm OD bayonet cap, Class A or B Pt100 accuracy, and 2 meters of Teflon/Teflon lead wire.
