    Description

    Bayonet Type Straight RTD Sensor (Model APES) is a PT100 Class A temperature sensor engineered for accurate and repeatable temperature measurement in plastic extrusion, injection molding, blow molding, and other industrial process heating applications. It combines the precision of a PT100 RTD element with the convenience of a fixed 2-pin bayonet mounting system, making it an excellent choice for applications where measurement accuracy is more important than the extended temperature range offered by thermocouples.

    Unlike rotating bayonet thermocouples, this sensor features a fixed 2-pin bayonet cap with a 14.10 mm outer diameter, providing a secure mechanical connection for compatible machine adapters. It also incorporates a 1/4″ BSP threaded adapter, allowing greater installation flexibility and compatibility with OEM equipment.

    The Class A PT100 sensing element delivers highly accurate temperature measurement across a -50°C to 250°C operating range, making it ideal for controlling barrel zones, die heads, nozzles, hoppers, and other temperature-critical areas of plastic processing machinery. Its SS316 stainless steel probe offers excellent corrosion resistance and long service life, while the Teflon insulated cable provides resistance to heat, chemicals, and mechanical wear.
