Description
Bearing Temperature RTD Sensor (Model APED-8×35) is a duplex PT100 temperature sensor designed for continuous bearing temperature monitoring in generators, electric motors, turbines, compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and other heavy rotating machinery. Installed within the stationary bearing housing, the sensor measures bearing temperature without contacting rotating components, supporting reliable condition monitoring and equipment protection.
The sensor features a duplex (3+3 wire) PT100 sensing element, allowing two independent temperature signals from a single installation point. One element can be connected to a protection relay for machine safety, while the second can be used for PLC, DCS, SCADA, or predictive maintenance systems.
Its 8 mm diameter SS316 stainless steel probe and 35 mm sensing tip are designed for larger bearing housings where a more robust sensing assembly is preferred. The Class A PT100 element provides accurate and repeatable temperature measurement over a range of -50°C to +400°C, while the TF/TF/SS cable offers excellent resistance to heat, vibration, oil, grease, and industrial contaminants.
