    Description

    The Aavad Connector Type RTD Sensor (Model APES) is a PT100 resistance temperature detector (RTD) designed for industrial applications where sensors require fast replacement, routine calibration, or frequent maintenance. Equipped with a 3-pin quick-disconnect connector, the sensor can be removed and replaced without cutting cables or re-terminating wires, reducing maintenance time and helping keep critical equipment operating with minimal interruption.

    The sensor features a PT100 simplex 3-wire RTD element with Class B accuracy, providing stable and repeatable temperature measurement over a range of -50°C to 400°C. Compared with thermocouples, PT100 RTDs offer excellent measurement stability and are widely used in applications where precision and long-term consistency are important.

    Constructed with a 6 mm OD SS316 stainless steel sheath, the sensor provides excellent resistance to corrosion, moisture, vibration, and demanding industrial environments. Its 3-meter sensing length allows temperature measurement at deep installation points, while the 1-meter TF/TF/SS (Teflon insulated with stainless steel braided) cable provides additional protection against heat, abrasion, oils, and chemicals.

    The integrated 3-pin connector simplifies installation and servicing by allowing technicians to disconnect and reconnect the RTD quickly during scheduled maintenance or sensor replacement. This makes the sensor particularly suitable for equipment where downtime must be minimized or where sensors are periodically removed for calibration.
