Description
The Mercury Filled Temperature Gauge by Aavad Instrument Pvt. Ltd. is a precision-grade industrial thermometer that uses mercury as the thermometric fluid in a glass capillary and Bourdon tube system, providing highly accurate and responsive temperature readings across a wide range. Mercury’s excellent linear thermal expansion properties and chemical stability make this gauge one of the most precise local temperature indicators, with accuracy superior to gas-actuated or bimetallic types, particularly at mid-to-high temperature ranges.
Mercury-filled temperature gauges have been widely used in various industries and applications, including laboratory experiments, industrial processes, and HVAC systems. However, due to concerns about mercury’s toxicity and environmental impact, the use of mercury-filled gauges has been phased out in many places in favor of digital or alternative types of temperature measurement devices.
