Description
The Electric Contact Pressure Gauge combines the functions of a mechanical Bourdon tube pressure gauge and an electrical pressure switch in a single instrument. In addition to providing continuous local pressure indication, the gauge automatically activates electrical contacts when the measured pressure reaches preset values, allowing direct control of alarms, pumps, compressors, solenoid valves, PLCs, DCS systems, relays, and other automation equipment. By integrating pressure measurement and switching into one device, it reduces installation complexity, wiring, and maintenance compared with using separate pressure gauges and pressure switches.
The Aavad Electric Contact Pressure Gauge features a 150 mm dial, 0–40 MPa pressure range, SS304/SS316 construction, ±1.6% Full Scale Deflection (FSD) accuracy, and a 1/2″ NPT(M) process connection. It is available with magnetic reed contacts for low-current, non-sparking switching or direct-contact mechanisms for higher switching loads. Single and double set-point configurations are available with Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) contact arrangements, including 2NO + 2NC configurations.
