Description
Mineral Insulated RTD with Terminal Head (Model APFS) is a high-accuracy PT100 RTD temperature sensor designed for reliable industrial temperature measurement in demanding and high-vibration process environments. Featuring a Simplex PT100 Class A sensing element, mineral-insulated 6 mm OD × 305 mm SS316 stainless steel probe, and a rugged IP67 flameproof die-cast aluminium terminal head, this industrial RTD sensor provides stable and repeatable temperature measurement across an operating range of -50°C to +400°C. Supplied without a dedicated process connection, the bare-probe design is suitable for installation inside a compatible thermowell, protection tube, compression fitting, or customer-supplied mounting arrangement, providing installation flexibility for existing and customized industrial temperature measurement systems.
The mineral-insulated construction provides mechanical durability and stable sensor performance under vibration and repeated thermal cycling, making the APFS particularly suitable for pumps, compressors, turbines, rotating machinery, and heavy process equipment where dependable temperature monitoring is essential. Available with 2-wire, 3-wire, or 4-wire PT100 configurations, the sensor can be integrated with compatible temperature transmitters, PLCs, DCS, SCADA systems, controllers, and indicators.
