Description
Plastic Head PT1000 RTD Sensor (Model APPS-6×200) is a cost-effective PT1000 resistance temperature detector (RTD) designed for reliable temperature measurement in industrial process control, HVAC, OEM machinery, and automation applications. Featuring a Simplex PT1000 sensing element, corrosion-resistant SS316 stainless steel sheath, compacted MgO mineral insulation, an adjustable 1/2-inch BSP process connection, and a lightweight plastic terminal head, this industrial temperature sensor delivers dependable performance across a wide operating range of -50°C to +400°C. The PT1000 element, with its nominal resistance of 1000 Ω at 0°C, offers excellent compatibility with PT1000-based instrumentation and can help reduce the proportional influence of lead-wire resistance in suitable installations.
Designed for general industrial applications in non-hazardous areas, the adjustable BSP fitting allows the insertion depth to be set during installation for tanks, pipelines, vessels, and process equipment. The durable plastic terminal head protects field wiring while providing an economical alternative to metal terminal heads for standard industrial environments. Manufactured by Aavad Instrument, this PT1000 RTD sensor with plastic head is ideal for process automation, machinery temperature monitoring, utilities, HVAC systems, manufacturing plants, laboratories, and OEM equipment requiring reliable and cost-effective PT1000 temperature measurement.
