Description
PTFE Acid & Alkali Resistant PT100 RTD Sensor (Model APES-8×500) is engineered for accurate temperature measurement in highly corrosive chemical environments, including concentrated acid tanks, alkali solutions, pickling baths, electroplating lines, and chemical processing systems. A PTFE (Teflon) protective sleeve provides excellent resistance to aggressive chemicals while helping protect the sensing assembly in demanding industrial applications.
The sensor features a Class A PT100, 3-wire sensing element with a measuring range of 0°C to +200°C. Its 500 mm immersion length and 5-meter PTFE-insulated cable make it suitable for deep tank installations and remote instrumentation. A bendable mineral-insulated (MI) sheath beneath the PTFE sleeve allows installation in angled tank entries, curved pipe runs, and other confined locations without requiring a custom-formed rigid probe.
Manufactured with an SS316 sensing assembly, this RTD sensor is designed for reliable performance in chemical processing, water treatment, pharmaceutical production, and metal finishing industries.
