Description
K Type Steam Thermocouple Sensor (Model AKES-8×600) is designed for reliable temperature measurement in steam systems, boilers, pressure vessels, and industrial process heating applications. It features a K-Type thermocouple element housed in an SS310 stainless steel sheath, which offers better high-temperature oxidation resistance than SS316 in many elevated-temperature environments.
The sensor includes a fixed 1/2″ BSP(M) threaded process connection for secure installation into steam headers, boiler lines, and pressure equipment. With an operating temperature range of 0°C to 1200°C, it provides a generous operating margin for applications that experience repeated heating and cooling cycles, even though most industrial steam systems operate well below this maximum rating.
Its 8 mm diameter probe and 600 mm insertion length are suitable for deeper process measurements, while the FG/FG/SS insulated cable provides durability in demanding industrial environments. The sensor is compatible with temperature indicators, controllers, PLCs, DCS systems, and industrial automation platforms that accept K-Type thermocouple inputs.
