Description
The Aavad Model AKXS-Clamp is a high-performance, non-invasive surface temperature sensor engineered specifically for precision thermal monitoring on industrial pipelines and cylindrical surfaces. Designed as a simplex-configured Type K thermocouple, this sensor completely eliminates the need for intrusive process modifications like drilling, welding, or tapping into pipelines. This ensures zero risk of fluid leakage, pressure drops, or process contamination, allowing operators to safely monitor temperature profiles while the plant remains online.
Built for heavy-duty industrial environments, the sensor features a high-grade SS 316 probe body attached to an all-stainless-steel worm-gear clamp assembly tailored precisely for 1-inch pipes. This mechanical arrangement ensures continuous, high-pressure surface contact for immediate, rapid thermal response. Capable of measuring temperatures up to 600°C, the assembly is paired with a 1-meter fiberglass-insulated cable protected by a stainless steel overbraid (FG/FG/SS), delivering exceptional mechanical durability and resilience against extreme ambient heat.
