    Description

K Type Thermocouple Probe (Model AKES-6×350) is a handheld temperature measurement probe designed for portable inspection, maintenance, calibration, and quality control applications. Unlike permanently installed thermocouples used in process equipment, this probe allows technicians to measure temperatures at different locations by manually positioning the sensing tip where required.

The probe features a 100 mm ergonomic handle and a 300 mm stainless steel sensing probe, providing a comfortable grip while keeping the operator at a safe distance from hot equipment. The sensing tip is optimized for surface contact measurements, making it suitable for checking the temperature of machine housings, heater plates, molds, dies, pipelines, and other flat metallic surfaces where rapid spot measurements are needed.

The probe uses a simplex K-Type thermocouple element with an operating temperature range of 0°C to 600°C. A 6 mm SS316 stainless steel probe provides durability and corrosion resistance for industrial environments, while the heat-resistant silicone rubber cable offers flexibility during repeated handheld use. The integrated K-Type mini connector enables direct connection to compatible handheld thermometers, temperature indicators, calibrators, and data loggers without additional wiring.

This handheld thermocouple probe is widely used for preventive maintenance, calibration verification, machine troubleshooting, production quality control, laboratory testing, equipment commissioning, HVAC servicing, electrical inspections, and industrial process validation. It is particularly useful for verifying installed RTDs and thermocouples, allowing maintenance teams to compare process readings with independent spot measurements.
