Description
Air & Gas RTD Sensor (Model APWS-Air) is a PT100 temperature sensor specifically engineered for accurate temperature measurement in airflow, ventilation systems, gas streams, ducts, stacks, and exhaust applications. Unlike general-purpose immersion RTDs designed primarily for liquids, this sensor features a dual-diameter probe construction with a 15 mm outer sheath and an 8 mm sensing insert, helping optimize thermal response for low-density media such as air and industrial gases. Equipped with a Simplex 3-wire PT100 sensing element, a durable IP65 weatherproof die-cast aluminium terminal head, and a 300 mm stainless steel probe, it provides reliable temperature measurement for HVAC systems, industrial ventilation, combustion air, process exhaust, and environmental monitoring applications.
Designed for non-hazardous industrial environments, the APWS-Air combines dependable PT100 measurement accuracy with a robust weatherproof enclosure suitable for indoor and outdoor installations. The ¾-inch ET cable entry supports secure field wiring, while the streamlined probe design enables installation in air ducts, flue gas lines, air handling units, chimneys, ventilation systems, and industrial process equipment.
