Description
Sanitary RTD with Female Nut (Model APIS-Tri) is a compact PT100 sanitary temperature sensor designed for accurate and reliable temperature measurement in hygienic food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical, and biotech processing applications. Featuring a 1-inch Tri-Clover (Tri-Clamp) sanitary process connection, durable SS316 stainless steel sensing sheath, and a standard IP67 die-cast aluminium terminal head, this industrial RTD sensor provides dependable temperature measurement across a wide operating range of -50°C to +400°C. Designed primarily for non-classified process areas where a flameproof enclosure is not required, the APIS-Tri provides a practical and economical temperature sensing solution for smaller sanitary pipelines, tanks, vessels, and hygienic process equipment.
Available with 2-wire, 3-wire, or 4-wire PT100 configurations and Simplex or Duplex sensing options, the APIS-Tri can be configured for different process control, indication, accuracy, and redundancy requirements. Its 1-inch Tri-Clamp connection enables convenient installation and removal from compatible sanitary process equipment, while the IP67 terminal head provides protection against dust and moisture in demanding industrial environments. Manufactured by Aavad Instrument, this sanitary PT100 RTD temperature sensor is ideal for process monitoring in food production, dairy plants, beverage processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotech facilities, and compatible CIP process systems requiring hygienic connectivity without the additional cost of a flameproof sensor assembly.
