Description
The Bi-Metal Temperature Gauge (also called Bimetallic Thermometer) by Aavad Instrument Pvt. Ltd. is a robust, vibration-resistant, and low-maintenance temperature measuring instrument based on the differential thermal expansion of two bonded metal strips (bimetallic helix). When heated or cooled, the bimetallic helix coils or uncoils proportionally to the temperature change, causing the pointer to rotate on the dial — providing a direct, mechanical temperature readout without any power supply, fill fluid, or external electronics.
A bimetallic thermometer is a temperature measurement device. It converts the media’s temperature into mechanical displacement using a bimetallic strip. The bimetallic strip consists of two different metals having different coefficients of thermal expansion.
