    Description

    An Electromagnetic Flow Meter, also known as a Magnetic Flow Meter or Digital Flow Meter, is one of the most accurate and reliable instruments for measuring the flow of electrically conductive liquids. Operating on Faraday’s Law of Electromagnetic Induction, it measures volumetric flow without any moving parts, eliminating mechanical wear and minimizing maintenance. Because nothing obstructs the flow path, electromagnetic flow meters maintain high accuracy even under continuous operation and varying flow conditions.

    The Aavad Instrument Model AMAG-I is a high-performance electromagnetic flow meter engineered specifically for water supply systems, groundwater extraction, industrial water management, STP, ETP, irrigation networks, municipal utilities, and infrastructure projects. Designed with ±0.5% of reading accuracy, an IP68-rated transmitter enclosure, PTFE liner, and SS316L electrodes, the meter provides stable long-term performance even in demanding outdoor environments.

    What distinguishes the AMAG-I from conventional magnetic flow meters is its integrated CGWA-compliant telemetry solution. For organizations required to monitor groundwater extraction under the Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA) framework, the meter is supplied with a secure telemetry package that includes RS485 communication, isolated 4–20 mA analog output, pulse output, an M2M 4G SIM card, cloud connectivity, and a one-year telemetry subscription. This allows automatic transmission of flow data to authorized monitoring platforms without the need for third-party IoT hardware.

    The system continuously records flow, totalized consumption, and operational status while supporting real-time dashboards, SMS and email alerts, and seamless integration with SCADA, PLC, and industrial automation systems. Features such as empty pipe detection, onboard diagnostics, and bidirectional flow measurement further improve reliability and simplify maintenance.
