Description
Flameproof Angular RTD Sensor (Model APFS-6×450) is a high-accuracy PT100 flameproof temperature sensor engineered for reliable industrial temperature measurement in hazardous and space-constrained installations. Featuring an angular terminal head design, Simplex PT100 Class A sensing element, 6 mm OD × 450 mm SS316 stainless steel sheath, and an adjustable 1/2″ NPT(M) compression fitting, this industrial RTD sensor provides accurate temperature measurement across a wide operating range of -50°C to +400°C. The angular configuration simplifies installation around crowded pipelines, vessel nozzles, process skids, machinery, and confined mounting locations where a conventional straight-head RTD may interfere with adjacent equipment.
Designed for demanding hazardous-area process instrumentation, the Model APFS-6×450 features a rugged IP67 flameproof die-cast aluminium terminal head with double cable entry, providing flexible field-wiring arrangements within the certified enclosure. The adjustable compression fitting allows the sensor insertion depth to be set during installation, providing greater flexibility for varying vessel, pipeline, and nozzle configurations. According to the specified configuration, the sensor is available for gas groups I, IIA, and IIB, with optional SS304, SS316, and cast-iron terminal head materials.
