Description
Flameproof Mineral Insulated RTD Sensor (Model APFD-12×350) is a heavy-duty duplex PT100 temperature sensor engineered for reliable temperature measurement in demanding hazardous-area industrial applications. Featuring two independent Class A PT100 sensing elements (3+3 wire), a robust 12 mm OD SS316 mineral-insulated probe, an IP67 flameproof die-cast aluminium terminal head, and an adjustable 1-inch NPT compression fitting, this industrial RTD sensor provides accurate temperature monitoring across an operating range of -50°C to +400°C. The larger probe diameter offers enhanced mechanical strength and durability compared to standard RTD assemblies, making it well suited for harsh process environments with vibration, mechanical stress, and demanding operating conditions.
Designed for critical process monitoring, the duplex PT100 configuration with double cable entry allows two independent temperature circuits to be routed from a single flameproof enclosure, making it suitable for separate process control, safety shutdown, alarm, redundancy, or data acquisition systems without requiring an additional junction box. The adjustable 1-inch NPT compression fitting enables flexible insertion-depth adjustment during installation and is compatible with larger process connections.
