    Description

K Type Thermocouple Compensating Cable is designed for economical and reliable transmission of K-Type thermocouple signals between the sensing point and temperature measuring instruments. Unlike thermocouple-grade cable, a compensating cable uses specially selected alloy conductors that closely match the thermoelectric characteristics of a K-Type thermocouple over a specified ambient temperature range, providing a cost-effective solution for industrial installations where full thermocouple-grade conductors are not required. It is widely used to connect thermocouples to temperature controllers, PLCs, DCS systems, indicators, recorders, and industrial automation equipment while maintaining dependable signal accuracy under normal operating conditions.

This cable features fibreglass inner and middle insulation with an overall stainless steel braided outer layer, providing excellent resistance to heat, abrasion, vibration, and mechanical damage. Rated for ambient temperatures up to 480°C, the cable is manufactured in a 3-conductor, 24 SWG construction, offering reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.
