Description
The Fibreglass Insulated Thermocouple Cable is designed for reliable temperature signal transmission in high-temperature industrial environments where conventional insulation materials such as PVC or PFA cannot withstand continuous heat exposure. Manufactured for use with a wide range of thermocouple types, the cable is available in multiple insulation constructions to suit different operating conditions, including standard fibreglass insulation, high-temperature fibreglass, and ceramic fibre insulation for extreme-temperature applications. Depending on the selected construction, the cable is suitable for ambient temperatures up to 480°C, 800°C, or 1400°C, making it an ideal solution for demanding industrial process measurement systems.
The cable is available in lapped fibreglass, fibreglass braided, and stainless steel braided constructions to provide the required balance of thermal performance, flexibility, and mechanical protection. With approximately 20% elongation, the cable offers good flexibility for routing through industrial equipment while maintaining excellent resistance to heat, abrasion, and mechanical stress. Optional stainless steel braided armour further improves durability in applications exposed to vibration, physical wear, or harsh operating conditions.
