Description
The K-Type PVC/PVC Thermocouple Compensating Cable is designed for cost-effective and reliable transmission of K-Type thermocouple signals between the sensing point and temperature measurement instruments. Instead of using full thermocouple-grade conductors, the cable is manufactured with specially selected compensating alloy conductors that closely reproduce the thermoelectric characteristics of a K-Type thermocouple within a specified ambient temperature range. This makes it an economical solution for extending thermocouple circuits in industrial temperature measurement systems while maintaining dependable signal performance under normal operating conditions.
Manufactured in a 3-core, 24 SWG construction, the cable features PVC insulation with a PVC outer sheath, providing good electrical insulation, flexibility, and mechanical protection for general industrial environments. Designed for ambient temperatures up to 105°C, it is suitable for connecting K-Type thermocouples to temperature controllers, PLCs, DCS systems, indicators, recorders, data loggers, and industrial automation equipment.
