Description
The Aavad K-Type Thermocouple with Connector (Model AKES-3×850) is a high-performance industrial temperature sensor designed for applications that require quick installation, easy replacement, and reliable temperature measurement. Unlike conventional hard-wired thermocouples, this model is supplied with a mini male-female thermocouple connector, allowing technicians to disconnect and replace the sensor within seconds without cutting, stripping, or re-terminating wires. This significantly reduces maintenance time and minimizes production downtime in industrial processes.
Designed with a simplex K-Type thermocouple element, the sensor measures temperatures from 0°C to 600°C with excellent stability and repeatability. The 3 mm diameter SS316 stainless steel sheath provides good corrosion resistance and mechanical durability, making it suitable for continuous use in demanding industrial environments. Its 850 mm insertion length is ideal for deep temperature measurement in furnaces, ovens, process vessels, pipelines, and heat treatment equipment where shorter probes cannot reach the required sensing location.
The thermocouple is fitted with a 1-meter TF/TF (Teflon/Teflon) insulated extension cable, offering excellent resistance to heat, moisture, oils, chemicals, and mechanical wear. The integrated polarized mini connector ensures correct polarity during installation, helping maintain accurate temperature measurement while preventing wiring mistakes. This connector-based design is particularly valuable in maintenance-intensive industries where sensors must be replaced frequently without interrupting plant operations.
This K-Type thermocouple is widely used in industrial furnaces, heat treatment plants, metal processing, chemical and petrochemical industries, pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratory testing equipment, food processing, plastics and rubber machinery, ceramic production, OEM equipment, and portable temperature measurement instruments. Its rugged construction and quick-connect design make it an excellent choice for production environments where reliability, serviceability, and reduced maintenance time are critical.
