Description
Process Temperature Sensor (Model APIS-6×450) is a high-accuracy PT100 RTD process temperature sensor engineered for reliable temperature measurement of liquids, gases, and industrial process media. Designed around DIN 43772 protection-fitting conventions, the sensor features a Simplex 3-wire PT100 Class A sensing element, interchangeable measuring insert, 6 mm OD × 450 mm construction, fixed 1/2″ BSP(M) process connection, and a rugged IP67 die-cast aluminium terminal head. With a wide operating range of -50°C to +400°C, this industrial RTD sensor provides accurate, stable, and repeatable temperature measurement for chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, refinery, utility, and general process industries.
The interchangeable RTD measuring insert allows maintenance teams to remove the PT100 sensing element for inspection, calibration, or replacement without disturbing the installed protection fitting or process connection, helping simplify maintenance and reduce process downtime. Its standardized design makes the Model APIS-6×450 particularly suitable for plant-wide temperature instrumentation, retrofit projects, and like-for-like sensor replacement where compatible DIN 43772-style protection fittings are specified.
