Description
The Aavad Instrument Model AMAG-R Remote Display Magnetic Flow Meter combines these requirements into a single integrated solution. Built on Faraday’s Law of Electromagnetic Induction, the meter accurately measures electrically conductive liquids while providing a remote 16 × 4 LCD display connected by a 5-meter cable, allowing operators to view flow information from a convenient location without accessing the meter body.
Many groundwater monitoring installations require more than accurate flow measurement alone. Borewell locations often place the flow meter inside underground chambers or near submersible pump discharge lines where the local display is difficult to access. In addition, mineral-rich groundwater can increase the need for corrosion-resistant construction, while regulatory projects may require continuous remote monitoring and secure transmission of flow data
The flow meter features an SS304 flow tube body, PTFE liner, and SS316L electrodes, providing excellent durability and compatibility with groundwater, treated water, utility water, and other conductive liquids. With ±0.5% of reading accuracy, the instrument delivers stable and repeatable flow measurement suitable for long-term industrial operation.
For projects requiring groundwater reporting, the AMAG-R incorporates an integrated CGWA-ready telemetry system that supports secure cloud connectivity, historical data logging, real-time dashboards, and configurable SMS and email alerts. Standard communication interfaces include RS485 (Modbus RTU), 4–20 mA, and pulse output, enabling integration with PLCs, SCADA systems, and other automation platforms.
