Description
Screw-In RTD Temperature Probe (Model APID-6×150) is a high-accuracy threaded PT100 RTD sensor designed for direct temperature measurement in industrial pipelines, tanks, vessels, and process equipment. Featuring a 1/2″ BSP threaded process connection, two independent 3-wire PT100 sensing elements (3+3 wire), Class A accuracy, and a durable 6 mm OD SS316 stainless steel sheath, this screw-in temperature sensor provides stable and repeatable measurement across a wide operating range of -50°C to +400°C. The threaded mounting provides a secure process connection for applications experiencing changing pressure conditions, while the 150 mm probe length enables direct insertion into compatible process tapping points for efficient liquid, gas, and industrial process temperature monitoring.
Engineered for continuous industrial temperature measurement and process automation, the Model APID-6×150 features compacted MgO insulation for excellent measurement stability during vibration and repeated thermal cycling, along with a rugged IP67 die-cast aluminium terminal head for protection against dust and moisture. Its duplex PT100 configuration provides two independent temperature signals from a single threaded process connection, supporting simultaneous process control, indication, data logging, alarm, or redundant temperature monitoring. Manufactured by Aavad Instrument, this screw-in RTD temperature probe can be customized with different thread types, insertion lengths, sheath materials, and configurations for chemical processing, petrochemical plants, water systems, oil and gas applications, HVAC equipment, and industrial machinery.
