Description
A temperature element is the sensing component responsible for detecting temperature within instruments such as thermocouples, RTDs, thermistors, and other temperature measurement devices. Depending on the application, different sensing technologies are selected to achieve the required accuracy, response time, operating temperature, and environmental durability.
The Aavad Instrument Model AKWS-I6S8 Temperature Element is a K-Type thermocouple-based temperature sensor designed for reliable measurement in non-hazardous industrial environments. It combines a high-performance Inconel 600 protection sheath, a standard die-cast aluminium terminal head with IP65 protection, and a single K-Type sensing element to deliver dependable temperature monitoring in industrial process applications operating from 0°C to 850°C.
Unlike flameproof thermocouples intended for hazardous areas, this model is specifically designed for general industrial installations where explosion-proof certification is not required. The 8 mm Inconel 600 sheath provides excellent resistance to oxidation, scaling, and thermal fatigue, helping extend service life during continuous operation at elevated temperatures.
With an 1800 mm insertion length and single cable entry, the sensor is suitable for furnaces, ovens, process heating equipment, HVAC systems, food processing plants, engine testing facilities, and industrial automation systems. Its rugged construction ensures stable performance while remaining a cost-effective solution for non-classified industrial environments.
Manufactured by Aavad Instrument Pvt. Ltd., the Temperature Element is available in customized insertion lengths, sheath materials, thermocouple types, process connections, and terminal head options to meet a wide variety of industrial temperature measurement requirements.
