Description
Transition Joint PT100 RTD Sensor (Model APED-6×100) is a general-purpose industrial temperature sensor designed for reliable temperature measurement in furnaces, process equipment, machinery, and heat-treatment applications. The sensor features a transition joint between the rigid SS316 probe and flexible cable, reducing mechanical stress at the cable entry and improving long-term durability in applications involving vibration or repeated handling.
This model incorporates a duplex PT100 (3+3 wire) sensing element with Class B accuracy, allowing redundant temperature measurement or connection to dual monitoring systems. The 100 mm SS316 sheath provides corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, while the TF/TF insulated cable is suitable for continuous industrial service over a temperature range of -50°C to +400°C.
Designed for process industries, OEM machinery, and maintenance replacement applications, the sensor is compatible with PLCs, DCS, RTD transmitters, and industrial temperature controllers. Aavad also offers customized sheath lengths, cable lengths, sensing configurations, and process connections to meet specific installation requirements.
