Description
Type K Inconel Thermocouple is a premium simplex K-Type temperature sensor designed for continuous operation in high-temperature industrial processes. Featuring an Inconel 600 protection sheath, this thermocouple offers exceptional resistance to oxidation, scaling, and thermal fatigue, making it ideal for applications where standard stainless steel sheaths may experience reduced service life.
With a continuous operating temperature range of 0°C to 1000°C, the AKFS-I6S6 is the highest-temperature-rated simplex K-Type thermocouple in the Aavad product range. The Inconel 600 sheath provides superior performance in oxidizing and inert atmospheres, making it well suited for long-term use in industrial furnaces, kilns, heat treatment plants, combustion systems, and other demanding thermal processes.
The simplex K-Type sensing element delivers reliable and accurate temperature measurement while maintaining a cost-effective alternative to noble metal thermocouples such as R, S, and B Types for many industrial applications up to 1000°C.
Designed for hazardous industrial locations, the sensor incorporates a flameproof die-cast aluminium terminal head with IP67 protection, helping safeguard electrical connections against dust, moisture, and harsh environmental conditions. Its 2800 mm insertion length, 6 mm sheath diameter, and single cable entry make it suitable for deep furnace installations and long-reach temperature monitoring.
Manufactured by Aavad Instrument Pvt. Ltd., the Type K Inconel Thermocouple is available with customized insertion lengths, sheath diameters, process connections, and thermocouple configurations to meet a wide range of industrial temperature measurement requirements.
