Description
K-Type Thermocouple is a heavy-duty flameproof industrial temperature sensor designed for accurate temperature measurement in hazardous and high-temperature process environments. Featuring a K-Type (Chromel-Alumel) sensing element, this thermocouple provides reliable temperature monitoring from 0°C to 850°C and is ideally suited for industrial furnaces, boilers, kilns, reactors, power plants, petrochemical facilities, and process industries.
With an impressive 3200 mm insertion length, this is one of the longest standard flameproof K-Type Thermocouples manufactured by Aavad Instrument Pvt. Ltd. It is specifically designed for applications requiring deep insertion into tall furnaces, vertical process columns, large reactors, chimneys, boilers, and kilns where conventional thermocouples cannot reach the measurement point.
The thermocouple incorporates a durable SS316 stainless steel protection sheath, offering excellent corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and reliable performance under continuous industrial operation. An adjustable 1/2″ BSP process connection enables installers to set the required immersion depth during installation, ensuring optimum sensing performance for different process conditions.
For hazardous locations, the sensor is equipped with a robust flameproof die-cast aluminium terminal head with an IP67 protection rating, safeguarding electrical connections against dust, moisture, and harsh industrial environments while complying with demanding industrial safety requirements.
