J-Type Thermocouple is a high-performance industrial temperature sensor designed for accurate and dependable temperature measurement in low to medium-temperature industrial processes. Constructed using Iron (positive) and Constantan (negative) conductors, this thermocouple provides excellent sensitivity, fast response time, and reliable performance across a temperature range of 0°C to 600°C.
J-Type Thermocouples are widely recognized for their superior performance in reducing and inert atmospheres, where the iron sensing element offers stable operation compared to chromium-based thermocouple types. With a high thermoelectric sensitivity of approximately 50–55 µV/°C, the J-Type generates one of the strongest signal outputs among common base-metal thermocouples, enabling precise temperature measurement and improved process control.
The Model AJIS features a corrosion-resistant SS316 stainless steel sheath, providing excellent mechanical strength and durability in demanding industrial environments.
