Description
A thermocouple is one of the most widely used industrial temperature sensors because it measures temperature using the Seebeck effect. When two dissimilar metal conductors are joined together and exposed to a temperature difference, they generate a small electrical voltage proportional to that difference. This simple, reliable principle allows thermocouples to measure temperatures across a wide operating range without requiring an external power source.

The Model AKFS-6×250 represents our standard head-type K-Type thermocouple. It features a Chromel-Alumel (K-Type) sensing element, a durable SS310 stainless steel sheath, a flameproof die-cast aluminium terminal head with IP67 protection, and double compression cable entries for dependable operation in hazardous industrial environments. Designed for temperatures from 0°C to 1200°C, the sensor offers excellent resistance to oxidation and scaling during continuous high-temperature service.
To support quality assurance and regulatory compliance, Aavad manufactures thermocouples with calibration available through our NABL-accredited calibration laboratory, providing nationally traceable calibration certificates where required.
