Different industrial environments require different thermocouple alloys. K-Type Thermocouples are widely used for general-purpose temperature measurement in oxidizing atmospheres, while J-Type Thermocouples are preferred for reducing environments. N-Type Thermocouples provide superior long-term stability and oxidation resistance during prolonged high-temperature service. T-Type Thermocouples deliver excellent accuracy for cryogenic and low-temperature applications, whereas R, S, and B Type Thermocouples are manufactured using precious metal alloys for extremely high-temperature applications where base-metal thermocouples are unsuitable.
The standard construction represented on this page is the Model AKFS-10, featuring a flameproof die-cast aluminium terminal head, SS316 protection sheath, IP67 protection, and a 3200 mm insertion length. However, every thermocouple type can be manufactured with customized sheath materials, insertion lengths, sheath diameters, process connections, sensing configurations, and terminal head designs according to specific industrial requirements.
